• After you see a new word, look up its usage in the sentence in the dictionary. Now, prepare your own sentences to make sure that you\'ve understood the meaning of the word.
• You can also note down the roots of the words that will help you make the best guess of the meaning of the word in the test.
• Make a list of new words and arrange them in different categories. It will help you in practice and revision.
• Keep eye on confusing words and homophones. Link them in their suitable context that will help you clear confusion.
